We are looking forward to our August/September monthly meeting this Monday covering fire rated expansion technology by Kevin Smith of Construction Specialties Group. You can still RSVP and/or register on our Calendar page.

Also, Monday will be a great opportunity to ask questions or register in person for next Thursday's Annual Golf Tournament. We are excited about the interest so far, and want to you be a part of the big day! Please consider joining us this year and making the new version of this event a big success. FIRE ALARM TRAINING

For those not interested in golfing, Jade Alarm and the Lenexa Fire Department are hosting a full day training on Fire Alarm and UL Certification at 24000 Prairie Star Parkway (Lenexa Fire Department Statino #3) on September 3rd. See the attached Training Flyer for more information.

NFSA CLASS IN RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI

NFSA has rescheduled their training program from February for August 12 and 13th in Riverside, MO. The training will cover Fire Pumps for Fire Protection and Fire Service Mains & Their Appurtenances. MAY 2014 MEETING ANNOUNCED

Weston Opat, Regional Sales Manager for the Central/Mid-West Region of CST Storage is going to present on "Protection of Large Scale Liquid Storage." The date is scheduled for May 5, 2014, at Cinzetti's at West 91st Street in Overland Park, KS. Lunch is at 11:30am and the presentation will begin at 12:00pm.

LOCAL FIRE MODELING TRAINING COURSE

The Missouri-Kansas Society of Fire Protection Engineers are planning on hosting a local Fire Modeling class for members of the chapter at the office of Henderson Engineers in Lenexa. Currently, April is the target month and the chapter is looking for interest parties to formulate and distribute pricing rates for the course that would run up to three days.
