Things are heating up for Tuesday's Technical Seminar, the first in several years for our chapter. We now have two more topics to offer. We've also extended our discounts to those interested in the event through Friday. We are happy to announce that we are already well in the positive and this event will go a long way in raising money towards student fire protection scholarships. See below for our added topics and RSVP today to join us next week!
Our best deal yet. Tuesday, April 26th only: 25% off seminar registration of two or more people. We have a total of nine speakers throughout the day on a wide range of fire protection topics. Join us for our biggest technical event in over three years!
This is the last week to apply for our local scholarship offering. We typically only see a few applications and the scholarship awards have historically ranged between $1000 to $1500. All it takes is a cover letter and resume to apply. See our information here for more information: http://www.weebly.com/editor/main.php

See you May 3rd! There's only one week left to participate in the 2016 Fire Protection Engineering Compensation Survey--have you submitted your response yet?
We need your input to help us provide the most accurate report of current salary and benefits data for the fire protection engineering profession. For the first time this year, all survey participants will receive a complimentary copy of the report once it is published in fall 2016. Don't miss this chance to help us compile the most complete salary and benefits data, and also receive a complimentary copy of this valuable report--complete the survey today. The survey is open to fire protection engineers and fire safety engineers throughout the world and is available here. Responses can be submitted until April 15 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey if you haven't already done so, and also encourage your peers in the field to participate. The more data we collect, the better and more complete the report will be. If you have any questions, please contact SFPE at [email protected]. Just a brief reminder that we will not have a monthly meeting in April, but we are excited about the full day technical seminar on May 3, 2016. You can see the latest lineup (9 different sessions) of speakers and presentations as well as register all on our Seminar page.
