From the Kansas State Fire Marshal:
The Office of the Kansas State Fire Marshal is preparing to update our adopted codes and standards and we would like to offer you the opportunity to provide comments or other input. In the upcoming months we will begin preparing the regulations to adopt and a formal public hearing and comment period will be scheduled. At this time, we wanted to solicit any input and give everyone the opportunity to become involved in the process as early as possible. We are currently operating under the 2006 International Building Code (IBC), 2006 International Fire Code (IFC), 2006 NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and various other NFPA documents. Please see the list of the intended codes and standards to be adopted. Questions and concerns should be sent to: Mende Barnett, [email protected]. |
