The annual golf tournament is the Missouri-Kansas Society of Fire Protection Engineer's main fundraiser which helps support growth and interest in the industry through local University Scholarships. This year, the Mo-Kan SFPE officers elected to host the event at Topgolf as a way to increase networking opportunities as well as allowing those not well versed in golf to enjoy themselves! Check-in begins at 12:30pm with the fundraiser event beginning at 1:00pm with lunch to follow soon after. The event will be at Topgolf, located at 10611 Nall Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas 66207. Join us Thursday, October 5th to resume our monthly meetings. Ron Miller, with VES Fire Detection Systems, will be presenting on FirePro Xtinguish, an Aerosol Fire Suppression. FirePro Xtinguish is an exciting and new fire suppression product for total-flooding applications or any installation where a fire suppression system is needed to protect the contents of a space. This product is non-toxic, with zero ozone depletion and global warming potential, making it a green fire suppression product.
