During the recent pandemic the Mo-Kan SFPE Executive Board has been meeting to discuss the future of the organization. Since we are not able to host in-person monthly meetings, we have developed a survey to collect data from our membership to determine the best way to meet the needs of our members. We greatly appreciate your feedback as it will help us to determine our next steps to determine meeting options as well as funding avenues.

We are also moving forward with our Chapter goal of awarding scholarships this year. Please encourage any students you know to submit applications. We have received two applications and plan to award scholarships for the Fall Semester!
As a reminder, proceeds from lunch, membership dues and fundraising allow us to provide these scholarships. We have continually been successful in awarding student scholarships and we want to ensure we can keep that tradition for years to come. Being able to give to students during the current pandemic has been identified as a strategic goal of the executive committee. With your help and some exploration into new options of fundraising, we plan to achieve this goal!
