Join us Thursday, September 6th, for our monthly meeting as Gary Paul, Regional Sales Manager at Protectowire FireSystems, will be presenting about linear heat detection. Gary will be discussing the construction, operating principles, applications where it is commonly used, as well as how to integrate this technology into the project's design or construction. Gary will also introduce two immerging technologies, Confirmed Temperature Initiation (CTI) and Fiber Optic Linear Heat Detection.
Gary provides technical support to distribution partners in the U.S. and Canada and delivers educational training to the fire protection community to educate them on these new technologies. Prior to joining Protectowire, Gary worked in the wire and custom cable connector industry for 15 years. Gary is a member of both the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
Lunch begins at 11:30am with the discussion beginning at noon. We'll be at Cinzetti's Italian Buffet in Overland Park. You can RSVP and pay online ahead of time here: http://www.mokansfpe.org/calendar.html.
Don't forget to register online for this monthly meeting and check-in with Maryann at the door.
We look forward to seeing you there!

The Mo-Kan SFPE Chapter would like to thank you all for your time, talent, expertise, and continued support that you have provided to Mo-Kan SFPE. Through your active participation, you have all made a difference in the Chapter's ability to grow and understand new concepts as they relate to Fire Protection Engineering. Again, thank you again for your continued support, hard work, and dedication to the Mo-Kan Chapter of SFPE. We look forward to your ongoing contributions and our future together!
